godslild3vil Im new to poshmark so im trying to learn about how it works before putting things for sale. Can you tell me why sellers dont accept that form of payment?

coffeeandtea @godslild3vil hi! Sure. Poshmark has an issue with payments being made outside of Posh Mark because they do not get their portion of the sale. It's not really fair to cut them out because their app is what is giving your listing exposure. Let me know if you have more questions 😊

coffeeandtea @godslild3vil we may be talking about different things... Do you mean P ay pal? I've never seen that listed as a payment option.

godslild3vil Yes p at pal. If you go and buy something and click change payment method you can click P ay pal. Maybe it only shows up if you have the p ay pal app downloaded. Idk I just thought it was odd they offer it as a payment option but so many sellers wont take it.

coffeeandtea @godslild3vil I see what you mean! You can pay for an item via p ay p al ON Posh Mark. But many buyers ask to do the transaction, not through posh, but as a transaction through p ay p al. As an individual to another individual.

de_br_a I just made a bundle purchase and P pal was the option that came up for me to pay. :( I can do another method, but I didn’t see this until after.

coffeeandtea @de_br_a hello! I think Poshmark allows that as a payment method through their site, but this was referring to those who want to take the purchase offsite so that Poshmark doesn't get their commission. Thanks so much for your purchase and I'll try to get this in the mail tomorrow!
