Used, but still in perfect working condition. Patterned pillow cover is in excellent condition, purchase new and used alternating with the other cover for only approximately 2 to 3 months total between two kids. Deluxe fleece cover does have stitching coming undone from the Velcro. Easily fixable if you have the time, but I got away with using it without fixing it.
