This cleanser will give your skin life after months of exposure to summer sun, salt water, heat, and humidity. It’s made with AHA’s and BHA’s (more on that below), plus jojoba beads that gently polish up and refine your skin. It’s made with glycolic acid and lactic acid which are both AHA’s (or alpha hydroxy acids). These are ingredients that work on the surface of your skin, breaking up bonds between dead skin cells so they rinse away easily. Salicylic acid is a BHA (or beta hydroxy acid) that penetrates deep into your pores to clear out excess sebum, dirt, and other icky stuff. Bonus: It’s also a great acne fighter. It’ll brighten up your complexion, even things out, and help your skin retain moisture—basically, everything we want in an exfoliator. This cleanser should be used 2-3 times a week.
