Fabulous person & makes lovely ceramics. Bought this from her in Vermont. It is also a celedon glazed (see other celedon mug listing too). Cekedon is one of the earliest glazes developed by humans & has a diverse spectrum of green to blue & satin to glossy. Depending on the formula, firing type & clay body type. This is high fired stoneware- in a wood firing kiln. See the beautiful flashing colors on the foot (base). You can put it in the dishwasher & microwave. Never the oven or stove. Don’t thermal shock it. I have a large ceramic art collection, and though I adore this piece, I gave to down size my belongings. So off it goes into another loving home will it will get used. I didn’t get to use it much. A little over 3.25 inches tall. About 3 inch diameter. About 4.25 wide including the handle. Comes in a giftable box.
