This is a charming early-1900s souvenir portrait plate featuring Mrs. Grover Cleveland, created as an advertising premium for Walk’s Cash Store, 3rd & Johnson Streets, Bay City, Michigan. These small regional advertising pieces are increasingly hard to find and especially desirable to Michigan collectors.
The plate measures approximately 6 inches, with a detailed portrait and crisp backstamp. A lovely display item for collectors of advertising, presidential memorabilia, or Bay City history.
Condition:
Light age-appropriate wear typical of antique china. Please see photos for details.
(See my other listings for 3 additional First Lady Portrait Plates)
Please see the photos for any evidence of wear and tear, if any.
