Motorola Black and White Racing Flag

Checkered flag with Motorola logo. Classic black and white design on what feels like sturdy synthetic fabric. About 23.5 x 30.5 inches. Handle is about 30 inches long. A little crumpling and possible stain on corner. - see photo - looks like it was due to storage. I was told it was a "real" racing flag, but I don't know what that means.
