Mother of Pearl MOP Shell Pendant Gold Wire

This very pretty pendant is a MOP shell made into a pendant with gold wire. I tested the wire, as it doesn't attract a magnet. When I did a google search on this, there are many similar to this that claim 14k gold wires. My guess, given the results I achieved with a few tests, is a gold plating. I'd rather be incorrect on the underestimate of gold content, than to overestimate it. No matter what: it's quite pretty. Please see photos and let me know if you need more info.
