Mother Goose Drinking Straws (1950s)

Offered is a vintage box from the 1950's of pin-striped drinking straws from the Maryland Paper Products Company. This is a near perfect box of 100 pin-striped drinking straws. The box is in fantastic condition for its age with the exception of one tab that is torn that closes the box. There are fantastic Vintage Graphics on this Box Of Straws. These were manufactured by Maryland Paper Products Co., for Sweetheart Brand, back in the 1950's-ish. The box is labeled: Mother Goose Drinking Straws. For Home Use for children. On the front of the box is a little door that says, "open door." When it is open one can see inside the cupboard to see the pin striped straws. The colors and graphics on this box are wonderful. On the back of the box there are pictures of The Old Woman in the Shoe, Old King Cole, Peter Pumpkin Eater, Little Bo Peep and so forth. C1
