Fabulous chunky Mookaite Jasper stretch bracelet. Each oval piece of jasper is large and measures approx. 1" x 1.5" Mookaite is a type of Australian jasper found near Mooka Creek in Western Australia, known for its vibrant colors like red, yellow, and purple. It's a silicified porcellanite, meaning it's a type of chalcedony with a high silica content, often containing fossils. Mookaite is associated with healing properties, including nurturing, grounding, and providing protection. It's also believed to aid in decision-making, encourage versatility, and promote emotional growth. Good vintage condition. I noticed one crack which I've circled in red in the last photo. It is not loose. The elastic is still strong and not stretched out.
