There is a clear seal along the rim where the leather upper meets the sole (cobbler did this of his own accord when I took them in for a cleaning/polish). It is faint and a re-enforcement purpose.
Overall in very good condition.
Soft leather, excellent condition.

Are these shoes true to size?

@brassy27 I am uncertain if these shoes run true to size, but I made more precise measurements, which you can compare to your foot measurements: Interior footbed length (toe to heel): 10 ½ “. Interior width (just behind toe area) 3”. I hope that is helpful. I listed different shoe sizes b/c different sites translate Euro sizes differently, but perhaps actual measurements are more useful.
