Not broken in at all. Worn once and for less than 3 hours (maximum time estimate), worn indoors only! Out to dinner inside a resort (left one resort to visit another. I only stepped "outdoors" to enter/exit car and only in parking garages that were directly connected to both resorts). Pitctures do not do the sparkles justice, Shown in pics, very little wear under balls of feet, zero signs of wear on heels. Every gem in place and accounted for! This was an impulse purchase from DSW paid full price at the design launch. These were tge last pair of 8s when I purchased them, and they were almost completely sold out of all sizes. I have a similar pair of the same brand plus 2 other pairs by this brand( 1 pair classic nude patent leather, 1 pair bright yellow suede d'orsay, plus similar pair to these). Love this brand and both their classic and creative designs and comfort for being heels.
