Miu Miu vintage peacoat from FW ‘07

From Miuccia Prada’s 2007 collection for Miu Miu, this peacoat reworks 1960s schoolgirl codes with a cool, utilitarian edge. Cut from a light cotton-viscose-linen blend, Miucca flexes her sharply tailoring with pleated details throughout, along the bust line , drop waist and back of this peacoat, which can be worn as a dress or a jacket. A single flap pocket & oversized buttons tap into elements that balance innocence with a kind of deliberate awkwardness - the season’s off-kilter uniform aesthetic.
