basketpam I saw this and I looked at it a good bit. But at least for right now, while dealing with the "blessed" menopause and this revolting weight gain. Three years ago I was wearing a lovely size 8, just minding my own business. And WHAM within a year I'm up to a size 14 and extra large. So far I've been disappointed with swearers which are a large. I can wear them, but they're not as loose as I like. I'm going to pass on these two sweaters.

basketpam I thought having fairly serious fibromyalgia and a few other things was bad enough, I didn't need this menopause crap on top of it. I have a "telephone" doctor's appointment Monday with my Thyroid doctor and I'm actually praying my meds need to be changed. I'm considered very late for menopause, later this month I'll be 59. I also DESPERATELY need to see a good menopause expert. I know there are some meds I should be one. I THOUGHT I did this over 10 years ago when "things" stopped....cont'd.

basketpam if you get my drift. But no, it was due to EXTREMELY overactive thyroid. As a child, age 12, it went underactive. Was caught, put on meds, and as predicted, I outgrew it. Had checked over the years, all fine, then got a GOITER, can you believe that. Dr. said levels were 2nd highest in his career. Had radioactive nuclear treatment. It took my thyroid YEARS to fully die. It still may not be. I also have some other funky things too, besides fibromyalgia and gluten intolerance. It's NUTS!
