I love this cape. The brown with blond is striking. I noticed your statement about the length going to the top of the thighs, but the length from one person to another will depend on their height. Would you please provide the length measurement from the back neck seam down to the hem. Also, are there slits on the sides for arms? Has it been cleaned and in cold storage?

yes there are slits for your hands. The measurement is 30" from the top of the back neck to the bottom of the cape.
