Originally a new wave synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to become one of the pioneers of industrial metal in the mid-1980s. The bands lineup changed consistently throughout the bands history, with Jourgensen remaining the only constant as the bands main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist.
