I think you should have this bag authenticated. I collect Bal bags-nothing about this bag appears authentic. Numbers on front/ back of metal/ leather tag DO NOT match-they will ALWAYS match on auth. Bal. Numbers on tag do not match model number of Bal City-or any other Bal bag. Metal tag "C" indicates bag was made Spring 2004, but no scratches/ signs of wear on metal tag are unusual for 12 year old bag. Very sad there are so many fake bags for sale online.

This isn't authentic. The style number "128523" (bottom set of #'s on the metal tag) are for a "Balenciaga Twiggy" and this is a the "Balenciaga First" style. Sorry. ♡

Actually the style number is supposed to be on the bottom of the metal tag as I stated, but it's the second set of numbers on the back of the tag on this tag. Another indication that it isn't authentic. The style number on the metal tag isn't a real Balenciaga style number.
