eccentricpiggy @chloecofer ok I checked and it doesn't say anywhere what size thread it takes. So I'm assuming it can take any thread. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a definite answer. I'm going to check information from where I bought and see if it says it there.

eccentricpiggy @chloecofer Well, it doesn't say it on the site I got it from, but there are some reviews that they were able to put different sized needles into it for different sized thread.
