Mimbres Pottery Inspired Painted Drum, New With Tags

This beautiful painted drum features a design that is from ancient Mimbres pottery. As the tag from this drum states, the Mimbres were among the first pottery-making people in New Mexico, Arizona and northern Mexico beginning in 200 A.D. and up to 1130 A.D. and are known for their black on white pottery. This small drum features tassels that gently tap against each other as well as a small drum stick that is taped to the back of the sales tag. There is also a loop to hang this drum on display in your home! The drum is made of wood wrapped in hide, with the tassels glued onto the bottom.
