Mikimoto Vintage Akoya Pearl & Sterling Silver Maple Leaf Brooch

This is an outstanding vintage brooch from Mikimoto. It features a beautifully wrought maple leaf in sterling silver with a lustrous Akoya pearl as a central accent. The front surface has a matte finish while the back is a shiny gloss finish The north-south length of the brooch is approximately 1 3/4 inches and the width is 1 1/2 inches The weight is 8.3 grams "C" clasp with rotating safety catch Hallmarked with Mikimoto's oyster shell "m" trademark and S for sterling silver In excellent vintage condition. Both the silver & clasp are in great shape with a little bit of tarnish on the underside
