Mikal-Jon Bayanihan Sterling Silver Brooch | Vintage Modernist MCM Style Biomorphic Knot Design Signed Marked 925 Probably circa 1970s, this knot brooch is a little different from Bayanihan's more angular zig zag abstract brooches of the 1980s. A very cool find. This piece came from a fabulous and extensive jewelry collection in a Hollywood estate. Keep an eye out in the shop for more modernist silver pieces coming out of this estate soon. Measurements: 2 1/8" W x 1 5/8" H x 1/2" D ~24.3g Condition: Good vintage (unpolished) condition with two visible dents on the back side. Minor scratches (seen with the loupe) are throughout. The clasp is quite small and the pin has to be snapped into place. Normal wear for age. Please see all photos.
