Middletown silver-plated hard white metal fruit basket

Amazingly crafted, silver-plated fruit basket, circa 1950s. Modernist design with leaves, berries, flowers, and scroll work, with overlapping sculpted handle. Base measures 5 1/4" diameter. Top bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter. From base to top is 5 1/2", from base to top of handle is 11 1/2". Signed, "Middletown Plated Quadruple 1857, Hard White Metal". gnarlywoodorchard.com
