Midcentury Vintage Mary Mother of Jesus Planter Vase 12.5” Hand Painted Japan

Midcentury vintage Madonna, Mary mother of Jesus, tall ceramic planter or vase. The planter is ivory in color. Mary's robe is hand painted in blue with gold accents and her face is also hand painted. It measures just over 12.5” tall and 5.75” wide. Her hand painted face with pink cheeks is very charming, and the long lines of the planter are very feminine. Made in Japan, probably in the 1950s. Would be lovely in a Cottagecore decor as well as a Christian household. Perfect for holding spring flowers as a vase. Weighs over 2.5 lbs before packaging. In good condition. One small crack at the top ledge of the planter on one side - see circled detail photo. No other chips, cracks, or paint loss. There is some minor discoloration in the planter from previous use.
