This is a beautiful MCM wooden tray made by the Señal Furniture Co in Mexico, likely between 1960 - 1969. The tray has a tapered oval/rectangular shape. It is possible this tray was designed by Don Shoemaker, since he designed so many unique trays and larger furniture pieces for Señal during this time period. The original Señal sticker is on the back, which indicates Señal S.A. was in the town of Santa Maria de Guido, overlooking the City of Morelia in Michoacán. The set comes with the salad serving pieces, as well as 2 spreading utensils. I am definitely not a wood expert, but I really love the larger two-tone spreader!
Measures approximately 14" L x 8" W x 1 1/8" D.
The pieces are in very good, gently used condition! Perfect for any style decor, in my opinion.
