Mid Century Dansk Japan Heron Serving Plate by Niels Refsgaard

A beautiful shallow bowl or dish by Dansk with a hand painted abstract heron in the center. This mid century modern/Danish modern style serving bowl was made in Japan and designed by Niels Refsgaard for Dansk International. In this series designed by Refsgaard in the late 1970s, each platter was hand painted before firing so no two are alike. Imported from Japan, the bottom is marked 'Dansk International Designs Ltd Japan'. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition. There are some shelf wear marks on the bottom. 13" square
