What a Beautiful Vintage Floral Vase! This Treasure is about 81years old. It is truly a work of art. A Fresh Floral Vase to decorate any room would be a nice transition into spring. This lovely vase was made in Zanesville, Ohio by the Roseville Pottery Company. This particular pattern "Freesia" was introduced in 1945. The molds were made out of sculptures created by the companies head designer Frank Ferrell, a native of Zanesville. The pieces were hand decorated with the beautiful green, cream and lilac colors then covered with a durable matt glaze before being fired in the Kiln. The paint and the glaze were developed by the companie's ceramic engineer George Krause. The Roseville Pottery Co. operated from 1890 until 1953. It was one of three Pottery manufacturers in Ohio at the turn of the 20th century.
