The outer border rail of the basket’s base and hinged top integrates an all-around twisted and braided willow trim. Valise-style double handles have been wrapped in rattan weavers, as has the lip of the basket and the lid’s lower lip; double frog latches on the left and right side provide secure closure of the top.
