Mid 20th Century Rosina Queens Floral Trinket Dish With Lid, Made in England​

Trinket box and lid in a pastel-colored floral spray pattern against a white raised scrolled background and trimmed with ornate gold gilding. Measures approximately 2.5" high x 3" wide. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing - colors are bright and unfaded - gilting/ guilding is in excellent condition with no sign of wear. Fully back-stamped with Queen's mark. Estd 1875. Rosina China Co Ltd. Fine Bone China. Made in England. Around 1941 the the brothers Oswald & Derek Shufflebottom aquired the business of George Warrilow & Son. They renamed it Rosina China Co. Ltd. Note that the trade names 'Rosina' and 'Queens China' were introduced by the previous George Warrilow & Son Ltd; the established 1875 refers to the date of the formation of the previous company - George Warrilow & Son.
