johanna23h @amy4551 33mm case is the actual size of the face of the watch when the watch is flat against your wrist. 12mm is the actual tickness of the face so if you hold the face between your fingers the thickness would be that. Thickness of the glass/ face..if you turn it side ways it's 12mm
