Michele Sugar Egyptian Bee theme vintage clip earrings

I have never seen another pair like this one from Michele Sugar. Egyptian revival theme featuring a design with two golden pharaoh sarcophagi flanked by ivory colored beads and amber toned accents set against an ornate oval backdrop. The Egyptian honeybee is a sub species of honeybee native to Egypt and Sudan. They domesticated this honeybee before 2600 BC. Depictions of this honeybee were found in Egyptian culture, including on the walls of the pyramids. It was known for its distinctive color, size and hygienic behavior.
