@ronidarby ok I am adding a bunch of photos of me measuring it.
Here is what I learned:
It is basically between eight & nine.half tricky because it arches.
Across the bottom is eight inches.
Across the middle is eight inches.
The smaller zippered pocket on the front is six inches.

Enlarged font of logo on metal zipper pulls.
Extra shiny lining with bumpy logo.
An authenticity tag should be sewn into the side lining with date code, model number and country of origin.
