Michael & Melvin Crocker Face Jug

Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Signed Michael Crocker and Melvin Crocker. Face jug with hand-modeled and applied face with quizzical expression, featuring kaolin eye, eyebrows with incised details, ears, nose with carved nostrils, open mouth with kaolin teeth, and chin. Surface covered in a streaky olive-colored alkaline glaze. Incised on underside with Michael Crocker and Melvin Crocker signature. Excellent condition! No cracks or chips. Face jug measures 7 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches at the widest.
