These are beautiful 14k gold plated earrings from the Metropolitan Museum of Art shop and were purchased a few years ago as a potential gift. They feature authentic pearls and precious red and light orange stones. The red stones are probably garnet or carnelian. Like all "artistic earrings" in the Met Shop, they are based on some historical/artistic earrings depicted or represented in paintings.
