I loved these boots so much, but honestly they’re just the wrong size for me. Completely broken in and comfortable, some tread life still on them and they can be resoled. Only worn on concrete and have been treated with oil. Includes brand new insoles because I took them out when I originally got them. Note: these are factory seconds, so there’s a small hole punch in the tongue, but I never found anything wrong with them.

jimvellekamp @matthew_zobel my shoe size is 9.5 and I prefer a wide toe box, so these felt a bit small/tight without the insole. If I buy another pair of these, I’d buy them in 9.5. Hope this helps!

matthew_zobel @jimvellekamp It does help. My normal size is 9D, but I've heard that these should be sized down a bit, due to the generous last they are built on. It sounds like your experience is that they are pretty true to size, though, unless you prefer much looser fitting boots. I like room for my toes, but I don't like my feet sliding around in my boots at all, so these might be just right. It's always a gamble when you can't try them on.

jimvellekamp @matthew_zobel I know RW suggest .5 to a whole step down, but I’d say full step if your feel are pretty narrow and a half if they’re fairly average has been my experience (I do a full step down in iron rangers).

matthew_zobel @jimvellekamp OK, thanks. My feet are definitely average width. 9D fits great with multiple brands, so the 8.5 would probably work well for me.
