Men's Red Vintage Ripon Practice Jersey in Knit Mesh (Crop top) Small?

Men's vintage knit practice jersey in a fantastic red. This will likely set as a crop top due to the length. The measurements read as much smaller than the tag reads, a Large, please see measurements in the last two photos. A great find in nice vintage condition, please see photos for close-ups. There is some pilling and slight flaws but nothing worse than you would expect from a garment of this age. 50/50 cotton and polyester. Machine wash & dry. In today's modern sizes I would imagine this to be a small or x-small.
