Men's Sperry Cold Bay 3-Eye Thinsulate™ Duck Boot

Bought these for my husband to walk the dogs in when it rains. They are a very good looking waterproof shoe and he has worn them some, but he prefers his tall rubber boots. He said they feel that they run a bit big. Like maybe a half size. So it sounds like heavier socks can be worn with this shoe. Please see tape measure along bottom of sole for comparison. They still look pretty new, you can view the amount of wear on the bottom of the soles in the pictures. Questions are always welcome.
