@mardicl Yes the total pants length is 38.5 inches with about 1” cuff that can be let out.

I am also a size M shirt and 32 pants and I am 5’7” tall, this suit fits me somewhat loose. I suggest you compare your sons measurements to the ones in the description and make a decision that way.
