Melon shaped lacquered box. Antique beautiful warm red. Hand painted.

This is a gorgeous treasure! A lacquered box from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Asian styling with hand painted vines and butterflies. It has some crazing and a chip normal for an item of its age.
