tmarjacare Hi, thanks for your purchase. In response to your review. The boots are distressed leather, meaning it's designed to allow simualted marks/scratches/stains etc to achieve a certain look. I mentioned that in the description and if you didn't know what distressed meant you could have asked questions. In the close up pictures it shows the distressed look also.
