@nycsophia The necklace was my aunt's and she gave it to me years ago. I thought it was part of the jade she purchased while in China, but when you asked your question it jarred my memory a bit and now I'm not sure if it was purchased in China or if my uncle gave it to my aunt years ago.

@nycsophia Either way, I know it is genuine jade, that is for certain. I packed the loose bead in a separate bag to keep it safe. I did have it re-strung once at a local jewelers but if you know how to work with jewerly that's good. Thank you again for purchasing. Sorry it turns out I am iffy on the origin of it.
