shellarch611 Hi... very random and sorry to bother you, but wanted to bring something up. I called the Tiffany store where I purchased the necklace and they did not have record of my purchase. It took a few days to get a response, but then I reached out to the local store near my home, and the associate told me that they keep ALL records, and as long as I have the correct name, they could look it up. I asked if they could authenticate based on an image and she told me they could not.

shellarch611 I did a bunch of googling, and I couldn't find that necklace anywhere either. It just seems fishy to me... I am wondering if you'd be willing to take it to a store and have it authenticated. Like I said, I physically purchased it, but it just seems very strange that they cannot provide me with any documentation.

shellarch611 The associate I spoke to here told me they do not charge to authenticate older pieces, but they do charge for the actual certificate. If something is fishy, I would like to know so that I can A. refund you, and B. address it with the store where I purchased! Again, sorry... I know this is kind of a weird request!!!

theplaidthermos @shellarch611 hello. I live in a small town and do not have a Tiffany store near me to take it to. I can’t find it either googling it. It is all strange. The spoon is very Elsa Peretti, but the chain under inspection doesn’t have any of the rings soldered closed like authentic Tiffany pieces do -like my other authentic that Tiffany necklaces do. I don’t know what to do at this point.

theplaidthermos @shellarch611 At this point it is what it is. I’ll just keep it. It isn’t worth all the hassle you are going to have to make, do, & go through with posh support etc. I live in Northern CA & we have wildfires raging -currently 800,000+ acres burning. The air quality hasn’t been breathable. I would prefer to not have to go out in it &drive around unless necessary. In the end this whole situation sucks, at the same time there are worse things going on in the world.It is just a necklace.Real or not.
