I’ve purchased a few items on Poshmark that do not fit and I want to resell. Is it unethical to list an item for more than what I paid? maddagirl @phinixvan I’ve been doing this for several years, and I think the general opinion is that once you buy it, it’s yours. If you choose to resell it you can resell it at any price you want, and you definitely do not have to say that it is a re-posh. Maybe when Poshmark was first starting people got into the habit of doing that, but now almost nobody does. (Cont)

maddagirl @phinixvan Every now and then you’ll encounter a small person who will comment on the price for which you are reselling, but they are in the vast minority. Besides, you have to recoup both your shipping and the amount you’ll lose to commission.

phinixvan @maddagirl 🤙🏽 Rock on! Thank you! What does EUC mean? I’ve been trying to figure it out for weeks. Also, when an item is listed not for sale, does that mean it up for trade and if so, how to trades work? 🤔🌺💕

maddagirl @phinixvan Euc = excellent used condition (and Gucci + good used condition). And no. When something is marked not for sale, it is not currently available at all. Sometimes that means they have sold it on a different platform, or changed their mind, or if everything says it then they could have put their closet on vacation hold.

maddagirl @phinixvan Trades are allowed but not encouraged nor protected. That is something you would specifically arrange with each seller by reaching out and asking if they do trades. I just want to caution you that for sellers who do not trade can find this annoying. (Cont)

maddagirl @phinixvan But when you find a seller that does want to and you mutually agree on an item, usually you both change the price of the item to $3 and each buy it. ($3 is the amount you’ll pay to Posh). Then you’ll each pay shipping when you purchase that $3 item, and ship with the provided label as usual. :)

maddagirl @phinixvan Hi there. Each item you share from your closet will appear at the top. So scroll to the bottom of your items and share each non-sold listing one by one until you reach the top. Then refresh your screen and all your doors will be at the bottom because you did not share them! :)

maddagirl @phinixvan you can also use this technique to put the items in your closet in any order you choose. And you DO want to share your own items as often as possible, because every time you share them, they get top posted in everyone’s search results. And sharing them puts them in the newsfeed of your followers. I make the most sales when I share my own items often!

maddagirl @phinixvan Good morning. To block someone, go to their closet (by clicking on their name or picture). Click the three dots in the top right corner (on a phone or Ipad, anyway), click block user.

maddagirl That said, I do not block low ballers. People will offer you an opening amount but often they’ll come right up afterward and you can frequently still make a reasonable sale. Plus, we never know what their life circumstances are. I just take it as someone saying “this is what I’m willing to pay.” I just counter at what I’m willing to accept, then move on.

maddagirl I get low ballers several times a day. I just shrug , counter, and let it go. If they keep offering that low price, you can just let their offer expire.
