So the thing you want to buy the reason you can’t have it for so cheap is because posh takes revenue therefore if you brought for 3$ I would make 5 cents second reason is it is brand new unused with tags so I can only sell it a little lower than of the shelf I am so sorry

Hi .. Making a $3 offer on something listed for $15 is insulting to the seeller. If a seller's price doesn't work for you, I would recommend you pass rather than insult.
It is insutling because Posh sellers pay Poshmark $2.95 fee for all items that sell for $15 and under and 20% of all items of $16 and up.
If I were to ever accept $3 that means I obtain the item, list it, store it, promote it, package it up and go to the post office for $.05.

@lynneconger I get it. but on poshmark they let you do this thing called negotiating. If you post your item at lets say $20 and bid let's say whatever i want. then you as the seller have the option to A. decline. B. except. C. negotiate D. block me or I guess E. leave a long message about poshmark etiquette. I've got plenty of good deals bidding low. nowhere in the rules does it say you can't bid low. so I will continue to bid low. but thanks for your 2 cents. it was fun to listen too. 🤣🤣

@milesp81 Yes, you are entitled to bid what you want, remembered sellers are also allowed to ask any amount.
Believe it or not you should feel like not such a great person to make an offer and hope someone would accept a ridiculous offer, not realizing that they are saying yes to $.05
I'm always used by the people who want my stuff at such a low prices, even thoight the name & quality shows.
