natalieeek Hi Michelle, Happy the coat arrived so fast ! The coat is made of expensive organic “ boiled wool” it’s suppose to be of that texture because it’s organic wool . This is very exclusive expensive wool Which has a raw feeling not smooth which this helps with not shrinking. It was dry cleaned recently so it’s ready to wear . Do not try to use anything on the wool you’ll ruin the coat . This coat was 350$ original cost . Hope this helps with your questions and you now Love it more ! ❤️🧥
