legalfemme Thanks so much to everyone for their kind words and inspiring comments. As an update, Radiation has caused the necrosis of my jawbone limiting my speech and causing debilitating daily pain so the jawbone has to be replaced by my fibula in my leg. This will take 16 hours, 3 surgeons and a year to recover but I am thankful for each new day. I will keep you guys posted as my surgery date in June . legalfemme As an update to all of the kind and thoughtful posters who have continued to send me prayers and well wishes, I am finally home and recovering from my latest surgery. The 3 surgeons who performed the operation removed my fibula and used it to replace my jawbone which was destroyed by the radiation treatment. I have a feeding tube but it is manageable. There are no words to describe just how much the support I receive means to me. Thank you all so much.❤️🧡💚

legalfemme Thanks everyone for the prayers...they worked! Surgery was successful and I am slowly recovering. I am looking at two additional surgeries in the next few months.Although I have limited ability to speak at the moment, poshing and receiving the packages is a bright spot of my day. legalfemme @martinsue I am so sorry that your children are battling as well. Nothing breaks my heart more than children going through treatment. My sister’s child, Domenica, was born with spinal cancer which caused her passing at just under 5 months of age. There is no worse pain than having a child pass, regardless of the reason. I have added your children to my prayer chain and will keep you in my thoughts as well. If I can ever offer assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

legalfemme I have been asked to specify the items I am looking for so here it goes....after th radiation I am constantly cold no matter what the temperature is so I always wear a sweater. I love any shirts with a high neck as my neck is deeply scared from the surgeries and I’m self conscious of it. My style is eclectic. I love Anthropologie, Lou & Grey and anything feminine. Since I still have a feeding tube, longer tops are best. If you have items that you think I would like, let me know!

legalfemme Just an update on my journey with cancer, I still have a feeding tube and the scars on my face and neck are pretty intense but I am doing well with my speech therapy. Kind of had a setback when my daughter told me that she she was afraid to kiss me because of my scars. However, the main thing is that I am cancer free right now after two additional scares recently. I now have bottom teeth but they are just temporary until my jaw heals completely. I continue to be thankful for my life each day.

legalfemme Your description stated in excellent condition. They were not. They were very worn out and faded. I told you all of this. I’ve never ever complained about anything I’ve ordered from Poshmark. I don’t want the hassle of a return, as I told you. I can’t go to the post office because of my immune system I’m on house restriction. I thought a reasonable solution was for you to return some of the purchase price to me. I’m open to other suggestions.

legalfemme Then you are not handling the situation correctly which you face at the present. Goodwill for sellers is much more valuable than the price of a sale. I’m glad you survived your cancer at 19 and that you are raising money for a homeless woman. Truly, I wish you only the best. I just wish that you didn’t get so offensive when I raised the issues I had with your clothes and only would provide me with the option of a return when I am unable to use that option.

legalfemme I’m finally ready to give everyone an update now that I’m through with the worst of it. On the 4 year anniversary of my stage iv cancer diagnosis (head and neck cancer) and after 3 17+ hour surgeries, 34 rounds of radiation, chemotherapy and experimental medication, a new tumor had formed. legalfemme Removed. Since I could not withstand any more radiation and chemotherapy would not be effective it was a miracle. I’m so very blessed. My kids are my world and the thought of not being here with them makes me physically ill. I still need 3 additional surgeries for various effects of radiation but I’m sure as heck not giving up. legalfemme Update: I was unable to remain employed due to ongoing issues related to the treatment I received to keep me alive. Although I’m now medically fragile my mind and will to survive is strong.
