@closetalchemy I know this skirt from real life. It IS fantastic. My worry is that it may be "neither fish nor fowl," as PC customers often complain on the website about some items. Here: Very formal design + somewhat casual fabric. STILL, I know I will love it!

@closetalchemy I may wind up shortening the skirt in the front so that it becomes more appropriate casual (or work) attire. I am looking at its stock photo in the old PC catalog right now. The quality is there, but sometimes PC may overestimate the average "creative flair" among its customers.

@closetalchemy I would like to dress nicely and be in good taste-but not necessarily catch all eyes in the room onto myself due to what I am wearing. This is one skirt destined to make everyone look at you when you are wearing it. Would you agree? :-)

I would say yes, given it's unusual with the bustle like back and the high-low hem. It's quite figure flattering, I feel. I also feel that you have what it takes to make it work out for you. Seems like you either know the fashion industry or have a real flare for fashion. It does look amazing with boots and a sweater!

@closetalchemy I am tall enough to wear this skirt fairly well, BUT I also like clothes I can live with. I know with the elongated length in the front, I will be tripping all over my feet (were I to wear it as is at, say, work). Left unshortened in the front, this skirt probably would "work" only for formal occasions. But, then, its "casual" print might make it look a little "out of place."

@closetalchemy This is why I think, "Hmmm. "neither fish nor fowl" again. I have a brand new with tags Chatsworth Skirt from 2007 which I probably will try to sell. It IS the same design: VERY long and formal with a bustle train in the back but made out of a casual wool/alpaca herringbone fabric ... I never found the right occasion to wear it!

@closetalchemy As an example, if you know PC well and remember the Chatsworth Skirt from 2007, would you be interested in that given the fact that you obviously love this skirt? The one I have is Size 6, but TINY. I tried on the skirt in Size 4 and, literally, could not pull it up over my knees. I tend to be either Size 4 or 2 in PC skirts.

I may have a similar pair of boots to sell on Poshmark so I "liked" other pairs like it so that I could keep in mind what a good fair market value price for such boots may be on Poshmark! I never have sold, or listed for sale, anything on Poshmark, so I have a lot to learn! I will be looking at your brand new pair!

@momentsinthyme :The pair of boots that I need to sell are too tight around the body of my foot-,maybe b/c of my high instep or maybe b/c the boots are cut to fit more tightly across the foot than I can stand.
