jeepskydive ... I tried the pack when received and the straps are adjustable as the product states... but I’m not a child, so no additional adjustments were necessary. “DETAILS A scaled-down version of the Kånken backpack with long shoulder straps that can be adjusted”, (from their website). I have a 5star average rating, so am hurt and sorry. I will contact the store, but unsure of part shape or how it fits. Could you please explain.

jeepskydive Hi Lauren, spoke with Chris at Denver store regarding securing adjusted straps on MINI, he assured me there are no additional pieces, the length of the strap is snapped to the top of each shoulder strap. He suggested you watch a YouTube about the MINI. Please remove your comment and restore the rating, your purchase was as described and the price was sooo much less than original cost to me.
