Hi! I'm Kenna. Thanks for stopping by! I have a Sanctuary for around 60 (otherwise)unwanted & unloved cats and recently I recovered 3 that were lost during transport to another placement. It took a massive effort, every penny I had, and 22 solid days. The reason I am telling you this is because if you ever lose a pet in a location that is unfamiliar to them, you need info that we don't normally think of. And that is: that when an animal goes missing from home where it usually has its territory, that is a far different situation from when it, for example, gets loose from its carrier in the parking lot at the vets office. It's different because when they go missing from "home"(if they are inside/outside cats) they don't come home because something has happened like they got chased up a tree or trapped in a shed or hurt or killed. But when they run off at the vets we know they are alive and well but scared and hiding, waiting for you to find them. It seems obvious but you would be surprised at how many people give them up as dead after too short of a time. So, I say, never give up looking because they are somewhere waiting to be found. -MARN MissingAnimalResponseNetwork I recommend.
