zinfandel555 @livinluxurious him the bal you bought is fake. Please return it. The tag font is all wrong for an authentic Balenciaga. The other potential buyers have thanked me for warning them. I can provided links that prove this if you like. The C on the tag means it was supposedly produced in 2004. The font of the tag is incorrect for that year, or any year. The bales and the hardware on the bag are incorrect.

zinfandel555 It is a bad fake. Mention that I reviewed it when you return, and mention Janet at posh who knows me and will accept my review. The seller was alerted to this, and sold the bag anyway, claiming she wasn't sure , but sold it anyway. Walk into a high end store that sells Bal and they will know you're carrying a fake, which I personally would find embarrassing. I'm just tryng to help. Your hard earned money deserves a genuine bag.

livinluxurious Did you read my story of how mine (seen in the photo here) was a fall 2005 that I lost with my entire collection (priceless vintage and limited edition bags - at least 50k alone in LV - from French connection lost luggage onward) when my entire house burnt down 2 Christmas's ago. Did you tell the seller this???

She said she'd unconditionally refund my money no questions asked more or less if I determined it to be fake upon its arrival - though it's not gotten here yet - but did you ever notify the seller of this/did anyone else you know of? It was my very first purchase here and I was unsure how this all worked.

livinluxurious I used to be a luxury goods restorer by trade; so I have ready all that's needed to restore - but when I submitted the offer of $200 honestly I never in a million years thought they'd accept bc it's so so low ball -I had no idea that upon accepting it's a done deal and I'm charged - transaction finalized - that's when I got scared it could be fake - so did you read our exchange???

I'm sorry to hear for your loss of bags and sadly I agree completely with her that the bag you bought from that seller is 100% counterfeit. When you get it you will know immediately. Report the transaction to posh once you do-do not accept the item. Click on problems/order inquiry. take clear pics of the tags and hardware and send them with the report.

zinfandel555 Oh no, I did not see that, the seller blocked me when I tried to tell her it was fake, I hate to hear of your loss, the 05 bal stings the most for me personally just because I am a serious collector,of Bal exclusively, and own several 05s, the best year . If you've held an 05 and touched that leather, you'll know when you open the package that this is indeed a fake, no doubt. When you see the tag. And recall your genuine silver one, you'll know.

zinfandel555 The last bag you listed last is also not authentic. You should copy the pic I listed on the link I posted to a real tag., c 2004 in my example. If you are looking for a pre 07 bag, before bal stopped making tags out of real silver., that have the 925 symbol that means real silver was used. Copy a pic of an up close shot of a real bale, real studs and buckles. That way you can at least recognize obvious fakes immediately, which most that are here and on ebay are.

zinfandel555 For fast authentication you would need to join purseforum, read rules of Bal authetication thread carefully, so you post in correct format they require, very important or they may skip your request, and post link to bag you want authenticated. Ask @susanleeyogi nicely :) if she will look at bag for you, she is here more often than me.

zinfandel555 May I ask why you are in a hurry? If you need a real black city fast you will have to pay more and go to real deal collection, or fashionphile , but it will cost more. I only know older bags, I don't specialize in new ones, I hate the new leather. I'll help when I can.

zinfandel555 I take it you want a black city? The last one you posted about was a fake C tag which woukd have pewter hardware ( looks silver) . A real one is very rare, and worth a lot, highly collectible, since they made fewer bags in 03-04. A black 05 is a little easier, but still coveted and sought after because of 05 exceptional leather.

zinfandel555 Will have an A or Z tag. There are some on ebay, and if you can restore yourself. You can get a better deal on a worn one. But you still have to have someone review for you so you don't get taken.

And it's silly because being this sick I know I'll probably never even wear this bag, it's more just for me to sort of look at and admire... I guess it's sort of like that one small piece of all I've lost I kind of envision in that bag. There is no real urgency other than that sort of impending fear of losing time... Once upon a time I was a power seller and even worked with eBay corporate as an "authority" on counterfeit Louis Vuitton goods; I even wrote and sold a 100pg ebook on determining fake LV from real online around 2002 - but then well, life happened and eBay was under-committed to the cause in the end

zinfandel555 I am so sorry to hear of your illness, I too struggle with serious health issues. My bags are one of my greatest joys! I understand. I have many rare Bals, and rarely carry them, my dream is a red 03 or 04 city, or blue jean, or dark turquoise. The real gems of the oldies. I'd die to have one. You should make an offer on real deal collection, and there are many real ones on ebay and here, you'll find one soon, and pleas carry it.ill look,around. You get your money back!

susansupernova Part time is more east west with shoulder strap and mirror. Brief has no shoulder strap only top handles and should come with a mirror. All Balenciaga bags do.

susansupernova It means it's more or a rectangular style bag. Longer than it is tall. The brief is taller than it is wide so it's more north/south in design.
