yoga4joy Hi Julie! I'm sorry you had to sell Layla, that must have been a hard decision to make, the bond between a horse and its owner or rider is incredible and you must miss her very much. I learned to ride when I was 9 and stopped riding at 14. I'm 34 and recently have been thinking about trying again! I am 61 now and she went through a devastating injury and I just didn’t have the heart to push her. She has a kid that loves her now! You should get back into it! I did the same, rode as a kid and then got back in when I was 40. It’s worth it for body and soul! 💕💕 I love your closet! Will check back in soon! Much love to you Joy! Julie

yoga4joy @julieb8888 wow I feel so happy after reading your heartfelt note, thank you!! I think it would help me find some peace and push me to do something that scares me a bit! The last time I was riding the horse I was on took off full speed ahead and i couldn't get her to stop because I wasn't a very experienced rider!

yoga4joy @julieb8888 I am from LA orginally and moving to maple valley washington when I was 9 was a total culture shock. My parents felt they were meant to have a big family and so I'm one of 9 and my extra curricular activities definitely took a back burner to the day to day of helping my parents keep a home, run their business and look after my siblings. I guess I never felt like much of a kid, that's another huge reason I want to try new things now! And get back into anything I loved.

And cats are awesome animals so hopefully your sweet fur babies can help fill some of that void. I have 2 amazing little girls Tink and Rue. They are my world and people don't get it so I don't share much about them on posh! Like you I'm very careful and keep my inventory seperate from my girls.

yoga4joy @julieb8888 But contrary to popular belief well cared for ferrets on a clean diet don't smell at all. They dont even shed but twice a year. They are so fun and energetic and also cuddly love bugs. They love to be held and loved on. Anyway I'm really glad we connected! It's very lovely to meet you! I hope you have a blessed day! julieb8888 @yoga4joy Joy, thank you for sharing a bit of your life! I have a cousin who has a ferret, Wrigley, who is such a character! And my sister had one also, her name was Ferret Fawcett! Lol. I know they can be excellent pets and fun companions. Once you decide to go ride, make sure you take some lessons and learn how to stop before you go forward. I had a teacher who believed that teaching how to get off and stop was way more important than going forward at the beginning. (Continued)
