missmoonxoxo @jgspencet Hello! Thanks for the follow and welcome to Poshmark! I hope you're settling in alright and enjoying it so far. This is a lovely community full of sweet and helpful people. Speaking of which, if you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to tag me in a comment here or any of my closet listings. I'd be glad to help you out. Your closet looks awesome, keep it up. Congratulations on your sales, I wish you many more. Happy Poshing, xoxo.

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet Also, don't feel compelled to drop your prices so low that you don't make anything. I know it's enticing because you want to make sales, but don't drop your prices that low unless you're just tired of looking at the extra stuff you have and want it gone. I made that mistake when I first joined Poshmark, and was unhappy that I could never make a decent profit because I yielded too much to interested buyers.

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet I give the best deals that I can, but also respect my need to make some money too. Poshmark takes a 20% share of each sale you make. Additionally, discounted shipping comes out your earnings as well. So, just keep that in mind. If you need anything else, you know where to find me. Have a great day :)

jgspencet @missmoonxoxo thank you for the feedback. There are some items I would like to sell quickly and there are some I really want the best price. I definitely will reach out for questions. I'm new to this and really enjoy it!

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet No problem! You're doing WAY better than I did when I was a newbie. You've made multiple sales on both ends of the spectrum. I'm often told by new Poshers that they feel they're doing something wrong because they aren't selling as fast as they'd like. So, I always just give that advice as reassurance. And yes, Poshing is super addicting. It's a lot of fun.

jgspencet @missmoonxoxo hi there. I have some questions. What is the best route to go to start a boutique. I was recently approved and would love some feedback.

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet Congrats on being approved to start a boutique your first month here. That's great. I've yet to upgrade to a boutique, though I've begun researching wholesalers (you can buy wholesale on Poshmark too) and still experimenting with other things via trial & error. So, I'm afraid I'm not much use on this particular topic.

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet However, I bookmarked this listing last year to refer to later when I felt I was ready to upgrade. Maybe reading comment section and then tagging the boutique owner if you have other questions will help you out: https://poshmark.com/listing/sexy-sunnies-58c5a15d56b2d64a20014a4b

missmoonxoxo @jgspencet The only advice/input I feel qualified to give you is: start small. Buy a small wholesale package and figure out what generates the most interest, sales, and potential sales. I've seen poshers on here bite off a bit more than they can chew with that and it often leaves them with a large quantity of inventory that hasn't sold and that they're tired of looking at. I hope that helps you and gets the ball rolling.

jgspencet @missmoonxoxo this is extremely helpful. Do you have possible recommendations on where to buy from?
May 24Reply
missmoonxoxo
missmoonxoxo @jgspencet Aliexpress and Alibaba come to mind. Wish doesn't sell wholesale, but you can order a lot of items in bulk for very cheap prices off the site/app. Deal Extreme (DX)...the list goes on and on. I hope that helps you out :)
